Clera Features

Frame and sash

All of Clera's vinyl windows are manufactured using durable, maintenance-free, lead free, 100% pure virgin uPVC (unplasticized polyvinyl chloride or vinyl). PVC is the material of choice for replacement window applications because it will not rust, corrode, blister, flake or peel and can be ordered in custom colours.

Our thick, multi-chambered frames and sashes are all fusion welded and designed to outperform in Canada's varied climate by resisting air and water infiltration for exceptional insulation against heat and cold. All windows come with flexible, dual durometers which hug the glass to keep moisture out of the glazing pocket and are wet sealed to create a permanent bond between the glass and frame or sash. Compression weather stripping delivers a virtually impenetrable seal. Built'in accessory groove allows for a neater finish on the exterior.

At Clera, we use only premium brand hardware and weather-strip products; Truth Hardware and Schlage solid steel die-cast locks and keepers are virtually indestructible and easy to operate.
