- Opacity. Window tints range from very light and transparent to very dark and opaque. I have been thinking about adding a tint to our home windows. I am not interested in replacing all the windows with newer models, but I am wondering about if the window films are something I can do at home on my own, or is this something your company comes out to do? Is this an easy process for the average person to apply or is it something you should really leave to the professionals? Thanks.
